The contents of the “Weekly Feature” page are provided to you for your entertainment, amusement, and perhaps information. Here you may find articles of interest, pictures, historical information on the Club, or whatever shuffles to the top of the pile on our desk. The only defined characteristic of this space is that we will make every effort to change/replace it around the middle of each week. Thank you for visiting, and please stop by again. A Winter Best Forgotten

As we herald the first day of spring 2008, it seems appropriate to consider just why the event is so particularly welcome this year. My own personal aversion to winter has been fairly well documented over the years, as you shared my view of life as seen through the ink-smudged windows of the MMOGTA Publishing Complex. This year, I think, went beyond the personal, to the point of a nearly unanimous sentiment that mankind was meant to be either migratory or hibernatory, the option being related to your individual degree of mobility.

For those of us who were forced to be both present and conscious for the duration, it will be remembered as a season of laborious shoveling, numbing cold, dismal darkness, and spectacular slip-and-fall incidents, all of which seem to erode your very soul after a few months. Perhaps it is a masterful bit of karmic balance that brings us the last of winter, the beginning of spring, and Easter in the same week. Seems like we all need a little resurrectin’ this year.

And so it is; out of chaos comes order, out of sacrifice comes reward, out of winter comes spring, and out of campaign comes election. Yes my friends, there is a light at the end of the tunnel………….and out of tunnels come………………

We leave you with a few grim reminders below. These pictures will self-delete on the first 70 degree day.
