Somewhere around 1972, a half dozen farmers started getting together to play with their old tractor and machinery toys. Over the years, this small beginning has turned into the largest antique tractor show in Michigan. MMOGTA is a non-profit organization whose mission is the preservation and restoration of antique farming methods and machinery, as well as the production and presentation of an annual show featuring both. With close to 500 enthusiastic member families, the showgrounds has grown to almost 140 acres and a bunch of buildings with permanent exhibits and facilities. The MMOGTA showgrounds is a pretty impressive place.
