AUCTION
FEVER
A couple of MMOGTA
associates from the lower
pay-grades were recently dispatched to observe and document a
noteworthy auction within the scope of our travel budget. With hands
firmly planted in their pockets, to avoid any accidental bidding, the
lucky duo arrived at the site, full of anticipation. Time and effort
well-spent, indeed. This likely was the largest collection of
“Orchard” tractors and memorabilia either had seen in one
setting. The machinery alone would have comprised a great show at
any venue, and the estate upon which it took place was no less an
attraction. What follows below is some random photographic evidence
of the quality and uniqueness of this collection. We felt it was
well worthy of the time invested to pass it along for others to
enjoy. The photos below are only a small sampling of what was one of
the premier collections in the country. We were grateful for the
opportunity to see it in person.
