THE BUSY SEASON

The best descriptive term for summer in Michigan might well be “condensed”. The phenomenon can be even more pronounced when the summer follows on the heels of an abnormally wet spring. Planting and many other activities have been delayed, while some things, such as growth and mosquito hatchings have been accelerated. Either way, I am more than willing to testify that it still beats the hell out of winter.

We’ll be brief with the text here, allowing the much more efficient images to tell the tales that need telling. Below you will find a few pics to illustrate recent MMOGTA happenings/progress. We were happy to be able to field a busy two day weekend of tractor pulling in mid June, and finally able to make some headway with the upkeep and grooming of the showgrounds. Work is well underway with the shower facility expansion, which will greatly enhance our ability to serve our guests during the upcoming show(s). Site prep is in progress for the new Repair building (Walt Shop), a new engine mount in the Steam Barn, and an expansion to double the size of the Mill Barn.
